Bram Ladage is a Rotterdam family business, run by the Ladage family on a daily basis. Bram started in 1967 on the Rotterdam market, and nowadays you can still find Bram Ladage on the market and also in Markthal.
Bram Ladage, the Rotterdam fries icon. Their characteristic cones with fries are an integral part of the market, but the stand in Markthal is also the thirtieth. Every day they receive fresh potatoes and cut them (chopped as they call them) manually into fries. Bram Ladage is close to the process of the potato before it is in the shop and they emphasize this more and more. They want to radiate that they are doing something beautiful with a potato.
The Rotterdam fries icon
The potatoes used by Bram Ladage come from the Hoekse Waard. The fries are fresh and pure. They are the only ones in the Netherlands with a fresh croquette and soon even a clean label croquette, which contains nothing but broth, flour, ragout and breadcrumbs. What is the difference with a frozen croquette? Come and taste it! Bram Ladage bakes potatoes in 100% vegetable soy oil into real Bram Ladage fries! This way you get fries the way they are meant to be.
Bram Ladage serves ‘’slow food’’, Fresh potatoes from the neighborhood, fried in 100% vegetable soy oil, there is nothing wrong with that. So fresh, without unnecessary additives and made with love.
When are you coming to eat a ‘Brammetje’ ?
