On Tuesday 22 February, the 50th De Beren restaurant festively opened its doors in the Markthal. CEO Ad Schaap says the following:  “𝘙𝘰𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘥𝘢𝘮 𝘪𝘴 the birth place of the first ''beer''. After conquering the Netherlands we are back with the opening of the 50th ''De Beren'' restaurant, in my own home town Rotterdam, in the iconic Markthal. This is the way it had to be. I am fulfilled with pride, not only because of this succesful conept, but mainly because of my employees. Without them we would not have come this far.''

Friend of ''De Beren'' and former soccer player John De Wolf took care of the official opening of the restaurant by cutting the ceremonial ribbon. ''Back in the days you would find me on the Noordsingel, together with my fellow team players and still now I am in love with this concept, quoting De Wolf. I believe it is truly an accomplishment that all ''De Beren'' restaurants share the similar nice ambience, the food is always good and you'll find friendly staff in all locations.''

De Beren restaurant can be found on the corner of the Markthal building next to the Binnenrotte square. The restaurant is open every day from 09:30 to 22:00 hrs for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can find more about this restaurant here.
